“Author Larry Brummond is a life-long entrepreneur. According to BEYOND THE NUMBERS, he started with a Kool-Aid stand at 10 years old. Brummond has identified five key factors which he explains with personal stories, how-to information, tools and some statistics. This book is filled with insights for every reader. I recommend grabbing a highlighter and taking careful notes. It’s a solid book and I highly recommend BEYOND THE NUMBERS.” W. Over time, I’ve had a series of small businesses. Some succeeded, some didn’t and I could never quite figure out why. Larry Brummond’s book helped me to see the light just a little bit better. I would recommend this well-written book for anyone interested in becoming a successful entrepreneur. Earnest, A suburb writer and fellow Author.
Just starting or wanting to grow your business?
How successful you and your business are depends on good numbers (capital, revenue, cash flow, etc.) – supported by 5 key intangible factors:
1. Personality – What’s your best role: partner or sole proprietor?
2. Responsibility – How’s your work/life balance?
3. Goals – What’s your process for defining and tracking your goals?
4. Values – What’s your uncompromisable core value?
5. Attitude – It’s contagious; has your team caught it?
Sports metaphor: The numbers (business plan, finances, product, etc.) are akin to size, speed, talent; the intangible factors (above) are equivalent to desire, passion, perseverance, teamwork. Teams with BOTH are champions. Does your team have both? Want to know more? 720.363.2940 or Email

When I look at biz books on success, growing a business, recovered from the fall and anything with leadership/management, the first thing that goes through my mind is: do we need another book on this topic? Author Larry Brummond has responded with a “yes, yes we do” with his Beyond the Numbers. His 5 Factors are simple, but too often ignored or forgotten. Beyond the Numbers delivers a healthy dose of 1-reminding what balance is all about; 2- key elements that will impact sales and growth; and 3-you can do it. Recommended. A writer colleague. As an entrepreneur, I found “Beyond the Numbers” to be very helpful in terms of helping me to better understand the considerations that need to be made when starting and running a business. Author Larry Brummond very effectively draws upon his own diverse experience as a business owner to share hands-on, practical observations and tips that I greatly appreciated. I couldn’t set your book down, as it were. I appreciate your command of the English language, the vivid metaphors, and the flashes of humor throughout. On the whole, the book contains some great advice, not just for entrepreneurs, but for anyone grappling with life in general. Christopher Williams, Proof Editor, christopher.joseph.williams@gmail.com
I thought Larry’s presentation of the materials was fun and easy to understand. It has a lot of helpful worksheets to guide you through the principles of the book and implement them immediately. His personal stories are a fabulous illustration of the concepts, and the overall feel of the entire book is so positive and encouraging I definitely think this is a must read for any new or even established entrepreneur!
